ARC Review: Control by Melissa Cassera

ARC Review: Control by Melissa Cassera

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“This… all of this… is for her.”

So many twists and turns🤯! Mix supernaturals with teens and you get a 🔥 and fun mix! I enjoyed this book so much that I finished it in a couple of hours.

Natalie is 18, lost her mother, and is shipped off to Lockwood by her father. She attends a transitionary school where only 172 students are accepted. She is there with her not-so-lovely boyfriend, Jack. Her father is friends with Jack’s father so their relationship is arranged.

All seems normal at Lockwood with it being on its private island if you consider social media being nonexistent, phone calls to friends and family are unfortunately scheduled with monthly visits.

Jack gets accepted as the class president until a new student arrives. Or should I say two new students? Henry and Wes. Then the tables take a sharp turn!

“It’s like I want to keep his a secret, keep her a secret, keep her all to myself.”

Henry is a precog but we find out later there are more secrets to his powers. He’s also fluent in French🤤.

“Because I want you. Because you’re mine.”

When he is trying to warm her arms up the ground starts shaking and leaves start floating.

On the quest to figure out what is going on, Natalie will discover things about her past and life that she never imagined.

Grab this book to enjoy the crazy ride with powers, love, lust, heartbreak, betrayal, and revenge.
